challenge: Promote a park that doesn’t yet exist; help show visually that it will be built on top of a freeway. Fundraising was extremely important, so I created a logo and brand for their annual gala “For the Love of Hollywood”.
solution: Help bridge the unusual pairing through visually linking park and freeway imagery. Keep participants and community involved by creating a “counting butterfly” system — one new butterfly is added each year to all communications materials.
